I finally made a trip to Roll-N-Roaster today and I have to say, I liked it better than Brennan and Carr's. For one, they focus on the freshness of their ingredients-- all their breads are made from scratch and baked daily without preservatives, their roast beef is roasted, trimmed, and sliced daily, and their gravy is made from pan drippings.

I've been to the downtown restaurant and this location on south grand. I tend to go for the farmers breakfast but also like skillets and their French toast. All are very good. The portions are also gigantic. The stuffed French toast is half a loaf of bread and the rest are equally large. Each are about 1.5 meals. So be prepared to take a to go box.
